Previously, permits  and shipping could be organised by pet owners themselves but unfortunately that’s no longer the case, due to limited operational and commercial capabilities at airports. • Up-to-date microchip – make sure the pet’s microchip is registered in your name.
• Valid health certificate issued by your veterinarian shortly before departure.
• Proof of vaccinations, including rabies vaccination.

• Any other relevant documents specified by Colombian regulations.
• Ensure your pet travels with the required documentation as well as you having copies yourself. You can attach to their pet travel carrier.
