RSPCA Rescue Me Event
To celebrate World Animal Day, the RSPCA organized the Rescue Me Event which was held at Bicentennial Park, Glebe Foreshore in Sydney on October 4 2014. We went along to check it out.
There were rescue groups, shelters, info stands, face painting goods stands and a doggie agility park – something for everyone.
Many people have thought about adopting a pet but are unsure of what it involves so this event was a great opportunity to meet some furry friends that need homes and get educated about adoption.
Many dogs were lucky enough to find forever homes on the day because of this event and we hope to see more of this kind in the future.
