Kutti Beach
Kutti Beach, often referred to as “Kutti,” is a hidden gem located in Sydney, Australia. Nestled in the eastern suburbs, it offers a more tranquil escape compared to some of the city’s busier beaches. This relatively unknown beach permits dogs (on leash only).
Tucked away in the Eastern Suburbs, this little piece of heaven feels like a private beach where you can lounge in front of impressive mansions and feel like you’re far from the city.
There’s not much in the way of parking, so it isn’t recommended on public holiday weekends.
Access is via Wharf Road in front of the Vaucluse Amateur Sailing Club, take the narrow staircases on the left down to the beach.
If you don’t drive, then you can access by Public Transport – Bus or Ferry. Make sure you bring plenty of supplies, as there are no shops nearby.
Enjoy the secluded surroundings and multi-million dollar views and a dip in the water to cool off.
The name Kutti, pronounced “Kooti”, is said to come from the Aboriginal Word, which is the local Aboriginal name for Watsons Bay.
Take your dog for a dip at Kutti Beach!
