Glebe Foreshore Walk for Dogs
Glebe Foreshore Walk for Dogs
Glebe is located in Sydney’s Inner West and is famous for it’s Saturday Market and diverse range of cafes and eateries.
The Glebe Foreshore Walk is one of the best dog-friendly walks in Sydney’s Inner West. A place where dogs can go off leash and swim in the water.
Walk with your dog from Bicentennial Park (Rozelle Bay) to the Sydney Fish Markets (Blackwattle Bay) at Pyrmont (2.7km).
With over 27 hectares of open space, the off-leash section has tremendous views of the city, and plenty of places for your dog to run and small harbour beaches to swim.
Dog walkers can expect to see close up views of the Anzac Bridge.
For brunch, try Garçon’s located at the Tramsheds, 1 Dalgal Way, Forest Lodge NSW 2037 which has outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. It gets very busy at weekends so plan ahead.
Or if you prefer a French bistro in the bushland try Bellevue Cottage by Antoine Glebe – 55 Leichhardt St, Glebe, New South Wales 2037. Dogs are welcome to join their owners at this heritage-listed building where you can sample something truly gastronomic.
If you want something less fancy, there are tables downstairs where coffee only is served.
Heading to the Glebe Point Road after your walk?
You can grab a coffee at Sappho Bookstore or Bad Manors where pets are allowed at the outdoor tables.
Don’t live in the area? And looking for a suitable place to spend the night?
There is a great range of pet-friendly places to stay in Sydney for those visiting the harbour city.
