Batemans Bay Dog-Friendly
Located on the south coast of New South Wales, there are some good choices to stay in Batemans Bay, which are dog-friendly.
Breeze Inn
This 3-star motel near the boardwalk is located close to Ulladulla Harbour and Hilltop Golf Course and provides a terrace and a garden. Certain rooms within the property are pet friendly and titled accordingly, if not displayed on the website that means they are BOOKED as they are very popular and fill very quickly perhaps you could look for a different date if you are travelling with a pet. Facilities include free self-parking, motorhome/coach/lorry parking, express check-out, and 28-inch flat-screen TVs with digital channels.

Located 15 minutes south of the centre of Batemans Bay, this hotel offers a “Pet Package”, which has a selection of treats, a toy, and pet shampoo and conditioner to spoil your dog. All rooms are self-contained with their own kitchenette, and up to two pets are permitted per room.

BIG4 Batemans Bay Beach Resort
Located next to the off-leash Corrigans Beach, this park is pet friendly all year round in both camping sites and some cabin accommodation, but call ahead so reception can advise you about the pet-friendly policy, a $100 pet bond is required when staying in the pet-friendly cabins.

The Riverside Townhouse
Ideally situated close to an off-leash dog beach, the newly renovated 2-bedroom townhouse offers well-appointed and comfortable holiday accommodation with 2-bedrooms on 2 levels and lovely views across the Clyde River. House-trained dogs are welcome inside but must be treated with flea and tick prevention prior to arrival. The property is unfenced but dogs can be left unattended in the secure carport area. A small one-off pet fee applies. No cats permitted. Linen can be provided on request or bring your own. Tariff varies depending on the season.

DOGS ON BEACHES
The Eurobodalla council has rules in place to ensure dogs can be responsibly exercised on beaches.
Most areas are available on a “time-share” basis between those with dogs and those who would rather be on the beach without dogs.
Unfortunately, there are some very popular swimming beaches where dogs are prohibited.
Please note that timeshare arrangements mean that from 1 November to 30 April access is available between 5 pm and 9 am and from 1 May to 31 October access is available on a 24-hour basis.

Off leash timeshare: Wimbie Beach and the adjacent reserve and walking track.

Off leash timeshare: Sunshine Bay, between Bronte Cres and Beechwood Court.
On leash timeshare: Batehaven, between boat launching area and Joe’s creek (behind Tourist Park and Birdland).
Off leash timeshare: Catalina, from break wall to Joe’s Creek.

North Batemans Bay and surrounds
Off leash timeshare: Surfside Beach between Mundurra Way and the western end of Myamba Parade.
