Small pets are allowed at this Gold Coast motel. Close to theme parks with a bus stop right outside, a good pool and WiFi. Small pets are allowed but a $10 fee per pet, per night is required. There is an area for dogs to stretch their legs. During winter months on Marina parade (from Burrows street to Quata Park) the beach is off leash from 5 am to 8 am and the again in the afternoon 4pm until 7pm.

Flinders Beach Campground
If you love camping on the beach with your dog, it doesn’t get much better than Flinders Beach. There are twelve beachfront camping areas along the beachfront accessible only by 4WD from the beach, or by bush tracks. The camp sites are in natural areas and some toilet facilities are available (no showers). Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead and under control at all times. 2 dogs maximum per campsite applies.

For a ‘back to basics’ camping experience, Main Beach stretches for 32kms along the eastern side of the island. There are fifteen designated camping areas at the southern end of Main Beach, which offers great surfing and excellent beach fishing. This is a prime location for more experienced campers and 4WDrivers, and campsites are only accessible by 4WD. There are no amenities or drinking water at Main Beach. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead and under control at all times. 2 dogs maximum per campsite applies.

Golden Beach Holiday Park
This is a great park with lots of amenities. Pets of all shapes and sizes are welcome to the caravan and camping Sites. However, guests will be given a strict set of guidelines to follow regarding all pets. This ensures a safe, quiet and friendly stay for everyone. Located close to the beach and only 2.4 kilometres to the main street of Caloundra, and less than an hour’s drive from Brisbane.

Darlington Park Camping Area
This popular shady campsite welcomes dogs and is located 95KM south of Brisbane. It can get busy so it is best to book ahead during peak time. There is a kiosk, children’s playground and flushing toilets. Follow the signposted access on Kerry Rd, 25 km south of Beaudesert. Bookings are recommended for peak periods.
